Innovax Systems, developer of the leading contact centre solution OpsCentral, is pleased to announce today that it has achieved ISO 27001:2013 certification (with UKAS accreditation), the international standard outlining best practices for information security management systems. Compliance with these standards demonstrates Innovax Systems’ commitment to a repeatable, continuously improving, risk-based security programme. The management system was inspected by SOCOTEC Certification International, a certification body for management systems accredited through the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS), the national accreditation body recognised by the British government to assess the competence of organisations that provide certification, testing, inspection and calibration services.
“We’ve invested in the ISO 27001 certification to provide additional transparency to our partners and customers”, said Patrick Tan, President of Innovax Systems.
Established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), the standard requires the certification of an organization’s information security management controls for areas such as data security and business continuity. The certification extends to every level of an organization’s IT infrastructure stack, including asset management, access control, human resource security, and application security.
The in-scope products for the ISO certification include the provision of the whole OpsCentral suite of contact centre solutions.
