We are currently seeking Software Engineer (Video and VOIP) to join our team as we expand our operations in the region. You will work with a passionate team of engineers to design and develop the next generation cloud-based contact centre solution in the region. You should be customer-focused, results-orientated individual that thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in support and maintenance of existing open-source PABX systems for cloud-based contact centre solutions.
- Designing, troubleshooting and improving existing PABX systems.
- On-boarding and Integrating new partner SIP networks into existing PABX system.
- Provide 2nd level technical support, resolving, and perform root cause analysis on issues that escalated from first level support.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest VOIP tech trends and have a keen interest in the latest developments in such technologies.
Requirements
- Possess a pro-active attitude towards customers and good working attitude
- Possess Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Computer Engineering or related field
- Strong working knowledge in Centos, Open Source Asterisk PABX System(FreePbx), OpenSIP is highly desirable.
- Able to troubleshoot VOIP/network related issues using tools such as Wireshark.
- Experiences in Java,Linux Shell Scripting, IVR, Voice and Video technologies(SIP/PJSIP/RTP/WebRTC/ISDN/Codec(G.711G.729,etc), Billing(A2Billing) will be advantageous.
- Keen interest in open-source PABX solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong in technical analytical problem resolution skills
- Familiar with Linux environment.
